As part of the Beach Boys’ 50th Anniversary celebration, classic albums fromtheir historic catalog are now remastered and packaged in soft packs. Each titleincludes both Mono and Stereo Mixes (with the exception of Sunflower and Surf’sUp albums which include stereo mix only).
These releases mark the stereo debut of Smiley Smile and Beach Boys Party!,while The Beach Boys Today! and Summer Days (And Summer Nights!!) are beingreleased in stereo for the first time in their entirety.
The remastered releases include the first-ever stereo mixes of several key BeachBoys classics, including “Good Vibrations”, “Help Me Rhonda”, “I Get Around”,and “409”, among others.
The third studio album, Surfer Girl, was the first in which Brian Wilson wasgiven full production credit. The ‘Boys’ turn in some of their most cherishedsongs. The title track was the first song Brian had ever composed, at theage of 19. Its flip-side Little Deuce Coupe proved to be The Beach Boys’ mostsuccessful B-side reaching US number 15 and becoming a hot rod staple.
